The Work

I worked with industry subject matter experts to define and elaborate the core concepts of an in vitro diagnostics application, and design the UX and UI of their final solution of workflow portals and analytics dashboard. Supervised user research interviews to identify core use cases and user goals. Collaboratively planned and prioritized requirements along with internal teams and subject matter experts. After multiple rounds of iteration, my team delivered a full UI design, and design system for a fully integrated lab application.

The Work

My team created a robust design system, enhancing product consistency, streamlining development, and enabling seamless scalability. I partnered with the regulatory team to optimize registration, achieving a 42% reduction in processing time. We designed an integrated EHR ecosystem: clinician portal, patient app, and analytics dashboard for comprehensive healthcare management. I saw gaps in the process during customer calls and optimized the delivery model with dual process modules for efficient design change and scope management – one internal, one customer-facing.

Overview

Startups need people who can hustle, wear multiple hats, and help other teams reach their goals. These are project concepts that were created based on customer requests to show what can be built on our existing platform.

The Work

Some customers found it challenging to visualize what the end product could potentially look like when built on our platform. To address this, I collaborated with customers, sales, and customer success teams to gain a clear understanding of the problem they were trying to solve. I then worked with subject matter experts within the company to identify the most impactful features and workflows essential for the product’s success.

On the first day, I focused on detailing and prioritizing 2-3 key workflows. Simultaneously, my team began creating the project framework and adapting the design system to align with the customer’s branding. By the end of 4-5 days, we delivered a polished, presentation-ready solution that effectively demonstrated how our platform could meet the customer’s needs.

Overview

A connected app for a smart device that tracked users’ seating duration, incorporated gamification elements, and provided alerts to encourage movement.

The Work

I collaborated closely with the CEO and Co-Founder of PRS Medical Technologies to understand their vision for a new product, which they planned to present to investors as a connected device. I outlined the necessary research and identified the key features required to make the application successful. Once we finalized the core features, I worked proactively with their engineering team early in the process to ensure alignment and avoid any surprises regarding technical feasibility.

I designed the complete user experience and user interface for the application. When we identified an opportunity to enhance the app further, I created a rewards system that incorporated gamification to boost user engagement and foster a sense of accomplishment.

Overview

Virus and spyware security application and vulnerability manager designed for desktop and windows 8 tablet respectively.

The Work

I collaborated with user research, engineering, content, and visual design teams to reimagine the existing vulnerability manager. When I joined, the project had been progressing slowly for six months. Excited to contribute, I immediately engaged with all stakeholders, brought the teams together, and streamlined the interaction design process, enabling the project to be completed within just three months.

As Windows 8 prepared for release, I contributed to the initial concepts for adapting McAfee’s classic security application to this new operating system, ensuring a seamless and modern user experience.

Additionally, I participated in a think tank tasked with generating innovative product ideas to further McAfee’s reputation for exceptional digital security. Our team regularly brainstormed and developed user stories and scenarios to anticipate future needs for digital protection.

Overview

A “SIP trunking portal” is an online interface provided by Cataleya that allows users to manage their SIP trunk settings, including provisioning phone numbers, managing call routing rules, monitoring call usage, and accessing other features related to their voice over internet protocol (VoIP) service, all through a web-based platform.

The Work

• Crafted a seamless product experience for Cataleya’s SIP trunking B2B product, enabling the company to customize the portal for multiple businesses effortlessly.

• Collaborated with internal stakeholders to develop reusable user flows. Defined and designed for various scenarios.

• Designed a comprehensive and configurable solution to help support the B2B sales.

Overview

The clinical Trials portal is a complex portal involving multiple users with varying functions and permissions, enabling different people to be recruited into clinical trials and then eventually go through the entire trial.

The Work

• Led interviews with industry experts to gain insights into the clinical trial processes. Applied findings to prioritize features, develop workflows, and inform final design decisions.

• Built out user flows and layouts for several complex features like scheduling, clinical study status, and blind studies.
